Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune features an excellent range of infrastructure facilities in the campus including a library comprising of both traditional resources like 13227 Volume, 11572 Titles, 1078 Bound Volumes, 5 Pantone Guide, and a Reading Hall along with digital resources like 1243 Educational DVD, 88 Movies by VFD & AFD Students, 1428 Project Reports, 1128 Digital Degree Projects, 4 e-resources subscribed by SID, 17 E-Resources centrally subscribed – EBSCO, JSTOR, EMERALD, SRM, etc., 10 computers for users, Audio Visual Display, Publications- Research Papers published by the Faculty.
There are four hostels earmarked for students taking admission in the first year. The Daisy hostel has triple sharing for Girls and is located at a distance of 1 km from the campus. The Orchid hostel has double sharing for girls and is co-located with Daisy. The Daffodil hostel has double sharing for boys and is located at a distance of 300 mtrs from the campus. The Kopou hostel has triple sharing for boys and is located at a distance of 600 mtrs from the campus. All the hostel complexes are provided with the necessary requirements along with a mess.
The students can access quality and hygienic food in the canteen that serves both veg and non-veg food options along with a Juice bar that serves fresh fruit juices, freshly-cut fruits and milkshakes. In addition, there are also outdoor game facilities like football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, along with an indoor gymnasium and a recreation room as the campus plaza featuring Yoga and Aerobics.
SID Pune provides with well-maintained labs like Classical Animation, Digital Animation, Photography, Graphic Design, Film Making, Editing and Sound Recording Studios, Usability Lab, Model making in Metal Working, Plastic, Wood and Clay Studios, Digital Simulation Studio, Material Store cum Library, Draping Studio, Garment Manufacturing, Pattern Making and CAD Lab along with well maintained classrooms, a state-of-art facilitated, well-furnished, well-equipped, fully air-conditioned auditorium that has a seating capacity of 585 people along with a generator backup.
SID Pune features seminar halls, conference rooms and an amphitheatre for the purpose of organizing cultural and academical programs smoothly and efficiently. Besides the campus also has an ATM of Union Bank of India and a health center of the University.
