Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, Symbiosis International (SICSR Pune), Pune laid its foundation stone in 1985 as one of the first institutes of Maharashtra to impart computer education at higher standards. The SICSR Pune has been bestowed with the title of ‘Deemed University’.

To assist students in the areas of Computer Applications and associated subjects, the prestigious institute holds a group of experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are dedicated to providing knowledge and guidance for achieving their future goals. Both theoretical and practical methods are followed by the faculty in order to enhance learning opportunities for students.

SICSR Pune is a co-ed institution that offers three undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Students willing to take admission to SICSR Pune must fill out the SET (Symbiosis Entrance Exam) form on the website and make payment. After this, they have to register with the institute and pay a curriculum fee for the PI-WAT. Students have to appear for the entrance test after downloading the SET admit cards from the website. Those who will be selected on the basis of the exam results will have to take part in the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview processes (PI).

A placement cell at SICSR Pune puts rigorous efforts to get students prepared for on-campus and virtual recruitments. Every year, various reputable companies like IBM, Amazon, Wipro, Byjus and many more take active part in placement drives. With an aim to encourage students, SICSR Pune offers a library housing a broad range of books, journals, and magazines; a digital library with e-resources.

To enhance practical knowledge, students are provided with 5 computer labs, 2 audio-visual halls. Other major facilities provided by the SICSR Pune are spacious classes, on-campus WIFI access, and a hygienically maintained canteen.

Admission Procedure

Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, Symbiosis International, Pune has an admissions procedure for the students (Co-Ed) with undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Application and Business Administration. Candidates applying for the UG courses must fill out the Symbiosis Entrance Exam (SET) form on the website and make payment. Candidates must then register with SICSR Pune and pay a curriculum fee for the PI-WAT. Candidates must download the SET admit card and appear for the exam after completing this registration. The exam results will be published online, and qualified candidates will be required to schedule appointments for the Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview processes (PI). Candidates applying for the MBA courses must fill out the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) form and go through all the admission procedures including the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview processes (PI).

The final phase would be to enroll in these processes, after which a merit list of the selected individuals will be published followed by the final admission steps and informations.
