Symbiosis College of Nursing, Pune was established in 2007, under the aegis of the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Symbiosis International University. SCN, Pune seeks to nurture nursing leaders by offering unique, innovative programmes that are responsive to market demand, while keeping in mind the rapid advancement of the healthcare sector in India and abroad.
In order to ensure that nursing students grow holistically, the curriculum takes a comprehensive approach to nursing. Student nurses are trained to meet international standards of professionalism and to maintain the highest level of clinical practice at SCN, Pune.
Approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and the National Medical Commission (NMC), SCN, Pune offers 1 undergraduate (UG) and 2 postgraduate (PG) courses. The UG course is for the degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing; while the PG courses are Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc) and Master of Science (M.Sc), both in Nursing. Symbiosis College of Nursing, Pune offers UG and PG courses in Nursing - B.Sc. , P.B. B.Sc, and M.Sc. SCN, Pune follows online admission process. For B.Sc. admission at SCN, Pune, candiates must pass HSc examination in Science stream from any board. The final selection is based on the marks obtained in University Entrance Exam which is followed by the personal interview.
