With an aim to disseminate Swami Vivekananda’s educational view of life building, Swami Vivekananda Group of Institutions (RERF) laid the foundation stone of Swami Vivekananda University, Kolkata (SVU Kolkata) in 2019 through the act of the State Legislature of West Bengal.

The minimal requirement for eligibility is a 10+2 pass in one of the streams from a recognized board associated with the courses.
