SVKM’s NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC) was set up in 2007 by the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal charitable trust. Rated as one of the top schools in the country for commerce and business courses, they offer a number of different undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. At the undergraduate level they offer the following courses: BBA, B.Sc. in Finance and B.Com.

Students who have completed their 10+2 school leaving exams from a recognised board of secondary education are eligible to apply for the course. ASMSOC is affiliated with the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). ASMSOC is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

ASMSOC's main objective is to build committed and competent leaders and managers of the future. To that end, they provide all the requisite training and experience that their students need. This includes a host of co-curricular and extracurricular activities on the one hand and internships, corporate experience and experiential learning opportunities on the other. In its relatively short run of 16 years, the college has made a name for itself and firmly made its mark in the world of commerce and business education

Admission Procedure

To get admission at the SVKM’s NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, Mumbai the candidate has to appear in an entrance test called NPAT which is conducted every year for class XII passed out / appearing candidates to be eligible to their UG Programs. To apply for the undergraduate entrance exam, candidates must apply for it online and qualify the entrance exam as well. While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must have passed their 10 + 2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics / Statistics subject mandatory for all campuses.

SVKM NMIMS Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, Mumbai also offers M.Sc in Finance degree program. Candidates interested in applying for the program must complete their higher secondary examination with Mathematics or Statistics as a compulsory subject, and must get 50% from any stream a recognized university. Admission is based on personal Interviews and writing test basis taken by the institute.
