Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara (SV Vadodara) was established in the year 2007 by the Gujarat State Legislature under the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the fields of medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, nursing, pharmacy and management.
The university has two constituent colleges: K.M. Shah Dental College and Hospital and Smt. B.K. Shah Medical Institute and Research Centre. Both these colleges are recognized by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India respectively.

Admission Procedure
Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara, a deemed to be university, has established a counseling scheme for admissions to its M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. programs, which will be overseen by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India. Interested candidates must first meet the eligibility criteria set by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / Dental Council of India (DCI) / DGHS, MCC in order to apply for admission.
To apply, candidates must register on the MCC website and pay registration charges and security deposit (for DEEMED University Category) online. After registering, candidates must select their preferred choices for admission, and the MCC will notify them if they have been allotted a seat or not. If a seat is allotted, the candidate must report to the designated institute within the specified time frame for document verification, payment of educational fees, and the generation of an admission letter. If a seat is not allotted, candidates may choose to participate in subsequent rounds of choice filling.
