St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata has sufficient infrastructure that offers all the facilities the students require. The list of infrastructure includes a library, hostel, labs, auditorium, canteen, etc. The Central Library is an important part of the college's teaching-learning process. It serves as the center for all academic activity in undergraduate courses and research programmes. The library offers a large collection of books, including ancient and rare books, useful reference books, journals, educational CDs/DVDs, and a large number of e-books, e-journals, and other resources for its members to access. SXC Kolkata's Central Library features a well-equipped and spacious reading room with seats for over two hundred people. The library has a book bank facility that is available only to students from economically challenged groups and communities.
Both boys and girls can avail the college's hostels for their stay. Triple-sharing, double-sharing, and single rooms are available in both the boys' and girls' hostels. There is also a mess facility available for the students. SXC Kolkata has a large playground for outdoor games and it also has a separate basketball court. There are facilities for different indoor games too.
SXC Kolkata has well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Data Science, Computer Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Finance, and other course specific labs along with a cyber room, Multimedia Studio Laboratory, and Infirmary where the students receive excellent practical training apart from their classroom learnings.
There is a canteen that serves hygienic and nutritious food to the students. The campus is fully covered with a high-speed Wi-Fi connection. The ICT Enabled Classrooms are spacious and can comfortably accommodate a large number of students. They are surrounded by big, open verandahs where students can freely walk and breathe. At SXC Kolkata, the auditorium Fr. Depelchin Auditorium along with the Conference Rooms has always been treated with great respect. It serves as more than simply a stage for meetings or school and college events; it serves as a gathering place for a group of students and academics to celebrate, argue, and discuss together.
Additionally, the students are provided with other facilities like a wellness center to help them cope with any medical emergency.
