St Thomas' College, Thrissu offers numerous infrastructural facilities for the benefit of its students.
STC Thrissur has a massive library that is furnished, maintained, and stocked with a wide collection of resources covering a variety of topics. The resources include textbooks, reference books, periodicals, and journals. The library has a total collection of 97793 books with 70 periodicals. Being a subscriber of N-LIST by INFLIBNET, the college’s digital library gives access to a vast amount of over 6000 e-journals and nearly 135000 e-books.
Separate accommodations for men and women are provided by the college along with several other amenities to give students a homely feeling along with a splendid staying and studying experience.
STC Thrissur has outstanding sporting facilities and training for a variety of sports. The talented sportspersons from the student community have brought several laurels to the college. The college provides training facilities for several games and sports such as Cricket, Yogasana, Archery, Fencing, Power Lifting, Athletics, Football, Cycling, Hockey, Swimming, Water Polo, Boxing, Chess, Weight lifting, Best physique, etc. The college’s campus includes the following sports facilities- Cricket pitch and field, Cricket Nets, Tennis court, Indoor Stadium, Shuttle Badminton courts, Ball Badminton courts, Fencing Arena, Weight training center, Kho Kho court, Sepak Takraw court, Fitness Center, 400M Track, Football Field, Long Jump Pit, Triple Jump Pit, Shot Put and Discuss Arena, Basketball Court.
The college has a spacious canteen that maintains high standards for the food it serves. The canteen serves nutritious, hygienic and delicious food at reasonable rates.
To enable students and faculty to access the internet for educational and informational purposes, the college campus is wi-fi enabled with high-speed internet facilities. STC Thrissur consists of 114 well-maintained spacious classrooms that are air-conditioned and equipped with smart classroom facilities such as Projectors, LED televisions, smart boards, etc. There are 12 computer labs, 21 physical labs, 1 microbiology and molecular biology lab each, and one language lab is present within the college.
There are 4 auditoriums present within the college out of which one is an open-air theatre. The auditoriums are generally used for hosting cultural events and fests. There are 6 spacious seminar halls with sufficient audio and light support. There are 2 conference halls to organize seminars, cultural programs, training programs, PTA meetings, workshops, and other programmes.
