Established in 1881 by the Cambridge Mission to Delhi, St. Stephen's College, Delhi (SSC Delhi) is a part of the University of Delhi. It offers undergraduate courses across Humanities and Science. St. Stephen's is widely known for its politics, law, journalism, film and business courses. It is approved by the UGC.

SSC Delhi, provides 12 undergraduate B.A/B.Sc degrees in Economics, English, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Arts, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Physical Science (with Chemistry) and Physical Science (with Computer Science). All admissions are conducted online. To apply for their undergraduate degrees, candidates must appear and qualify for the CUET (Central University Entrance Test). While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must have cleared their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. Applicants are judged purely on the basis of their merit. SSC Delhi is known for its eminent faculty members who are revered academics and industry professionals. SSC Delhi provides both need and merit-based scholarships. The placement cell is in charge of organizing internship and campus fairs for the students. The cell invites renowned companies to their placement campaigns in order to provide students with maximum opportunities. Graduates from SSC Delhi have worked in companies such as American Express, Citi Bank, JP Morgan and several others.

SSC Delhi is located within the DU campus and is sprawled across a large area. Its library has historical importance and a wide collection of books and documents. The traditional library includes archives, a Reading Room, Textbook Section, Rare Book Collection, Institutional Repository, Video Library, Computer Section, Enabling Unit, The digital library provides access to NLIST, Delhi University library and E-Shodh Sindhu. SSC Delhi campus houses department-specific labs, an affordable cafeteria, a dispensary with a full time nurse to provide 24/7 medical facility and an ATM. SSC Delhi institute provides separate Boys and Girls Hostel, large spacious rooms with all necessary living amenities.

Admission Procedure

The St. Stephen's College, Delhi admissions are conducted online. To apply for their undergraduate degrees like B.A, B.A(Hons), B.Sc, and B.Sc (Hons), candidates must appear and qualify for the CUET (Central University Entrance Test). While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from the course admission to any course depends on the merit secured in the qualifying test. Apart from that, all students need to pass their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognized board of secondary education. SSC Delhi is a co-ed college, therefore anybody of any gender can apply for the courses in this college. 

SSC Delhi also provide postgraduate degree Master of Arts and Master of Science in various discipline. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. St. Stephen's College, Delhi conducts the admission process through the Entrance examination with a personal interview. St. Stephen's College, Delhi , placement cell is in charge of organising the campus placement campaign. The Placement Cell regularly organises internship fairs for the students. The Placement Cell's responsibility is to invite renowned companies to SSC Delhi's placement campaign. In order to give students the most placement opportunities possible, it keeps in touch with corporate partners and college alums regularly.
