St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College (SPCMC), Kolkata was established in 1865 with the intention of being a new centre of union for the East and the West, where secular education might take root. The stated objective of SPCMC is to nurture students as rational, morally sound, and complete individuals, as well as responsible citizens of modern India and the global village.
SPCMC is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is affiliated to the University of Calcutta (CU). Students can pursue 25 undergraduate (UG) courses at SPCMC.
The courses offered are: B.A in Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Philosophy, and Political Science. B.A (Hons) in Bengali, English, Hindi, History, Philosophy, Political Science, Education, and Sociology. B.Sc (Hons) in Chemistry (with Maths+Phy), Economics (with Maths+Pol.Sc. / Maths+Soc / Maths+Stats), Mathematics (with Chem+Phy / Stats+Phy), Microbiology (with Chem+Zoo / Chem+Physio), Physics (with Maths+Stats / Maths+Chem). B.Sc in Microbiology (with Physio+Zoo). Admission to the aforementioned courses takes place online via the official website of SPCMC.

Recognising the importance of an active lifestyle, SPCMC has provisions for various outdoor and indoor games such as football, cricket, basketball, badminton, table tennis and carrom.SPCMC also has a fully-equipped multi-gymnasium for the students to avail. Smart classrooms on the SPCMC Campus aid in the teaching process. There are several specialised cutting-edge laboratories for students to learn practical skills. SPCMC Campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and has a Medical Unit and Psychological Counselling Centre, and seminar halls for a host of academic and social events.

Admission Procedure
St. Paul's Cathedral Mission College, Kolkata conducts an admission procedure for the students (co-ed) for BA and B.Sc courses in multiple specializations in both honours and general degrees. The applying candidates are required to visit the official website. The admission is held online on the basis of the merit list provided by the college website. The candidates would be selected on the basis of marks obtained in the 10+2 examination.
SPCMC Kolkata also offers M.A. in English. candidate must be a graduate from any UGC-recognized University with English Honours. All admission will be done strictly on the basis of merit
