St. Joseph's College, Thrissur (SJC Thrissur) was established in 1964 and is situated on a sprawling 19-acre campus. An autonomous college for women, SJC Thrissur is affiliated to the University of Calicut and functions under the aegis of St. Joseph’s Educational Society of the Congregation of the Holy Family. SJC Thrissur has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and focuses on the higher education of women in regional rural areas. 

SJC Thrissur offers undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) as well as doctoral (PhD) courses. The UG courses offer the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of Vocational Studies (BVoc); while the PG courses offer Master of Arts (MA), Master of Commerce (MCom) and Master of Science (MSc). SJC Thrissur follows an online admission procedure. The highly qualified faculty of SJC Thrissur strives to provide quality education to students. SJC Thrissur also provides placement and training opportunities to students, with companies such as IBM, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte and Wipro recruiting the students. 

SJC Thrissur has the necessary infrastructural facility to ensure the all-round development of students. Regular classes at SJC Thrissur take place in spacious classrooms with audio-visual facilities, while practical sessions are conducted in specialised course-specific cutting-edge laboratories. Students are provided hostel accommodations at SJC Thrissur, with all necessary amenities. To promote an active lifestyle for the students, SJC Thrissur has various outdoor and indoor game facilities, as well as a well-equipped indoor gymnasium. Admission Procedure

St. Joseph's College, Thrissur  follows an online admission procedure. Students need to qualify their 10+2 level examination to qualify for the undergraduate courses (BA, B.Sc, B.Com) at SJC Thrissur, while for admission to the postgraduate (M.A, M.SC, M.Com) courses, students need to attain an undergraduate degree with required specialisations.
