St. Joseph's College, Devagiri, Calicut (SJC Devagiri, Calicut) a Christian minority college connected to the University of Calicut, was conceived by the CMI Congregation and founded in 1956. The University Grants Commission designated SJC Devagiri, Calicut as a "College with Potential for Excellence" in 2010 and 2014.
