S.T. Hindu College, Nagercoil is an innovative and eco-friendly learning environment. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure with separate schools of academic buildings sprawling over huge land areas. To provide accommodation for outstation candidates there are two boys hostels and one girls hostel. The inhabitants are also equipped with a banking facility with ATMs for money transactions and are led with tie-ups with multispecialty hospitals which provide adequate health care facilities to students.
The canteen at STHC Nagercoil serves hygienic and a variety of foods. It has separate departmental laboratories with specialized sections for research and experiments.
STHC Nagercoil has a well-stocked library with one of the best computing facilities, it has housed about 46780 printed volumes. The digital library collection also includes an ample number of e-books and e-journals. STHC Nagercoil has subscribed to all major electronic databases, including Springer, ProQuest, INFLIBNET, JSTOR, etc.
STHC Nagercoil offers a variety of sports and games activities. Sports are considered very seriously by the University’s end which opportune its students to pursue their sports of interest and expertise within the campus indoor and outdoor zones designated for the same. It has complete internet connectivity through Wi-Fi routers.
There are well-structured digital interactive boards and LCD projectors in classrooms, and a seminar hall. The campus has a spacious auditorium, which has a huge seating capacity for conducting various cultural activities throughout the year.
