Admission Procedure
At the UG level, SRM University Sonepat offers courses in B.Tech, LLB (Hons), BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA, and BCA. At the graduate level, it offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, LLM, M.Com, MA, and M.Sc programmes. The university also provides PhD programmes in a variety of fields. Early Admission Mode (EAM) is offered by SRM Sonepat and is only applicable to the Sonepat, Haryana campus. The applicant has the benefit of being able to reserve their seat for the programme of their choice.
Candidates must have completed the 10+2 exam, or its equivalent, in the relevant stream from a recognised board with an overall mark average of at least 50% in order to be admitted to the UG level. Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks to pursue PG courses from the university. For M.Tech, a candidate must have passed BE/ B.Tech in the relevant discipline and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
Admission to MBA is also done on the basis of the Common Admission Test (CAT) / Management Aptitude Test (MAT) MAT/ Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) /NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT). Candidates must have a postgraduate degree in a relevant field from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55% in order to be admitted to the PhD programme.
