SRM Dental College, Chennai (SRMDC Chennai) was established in 1996 on a sprawling 5.18-acre campus in the heart of the city. Affiliated to the SRM University of Health Sciences, SRMDC Chennai is recognised by the Dental Council of India (DCI).
Students can pursue undergraduate Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), postgraduate Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) and well as doctoral PhD courses at SRMDC Chennai. For admission to the BDS course, students need to qualify the NEET UG exam, while for admission to the MDS courses, students need to qualify NEET PG. Admission Procedure
SRM Dental College Chennai follows an online application procedure for admission. The admission procedure takes place according to the guidelines of the Director General of Health Services, Government of India, through a counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee. Candidates selected for admission through the common counselling process needs to report to the Dean's office to complete the process. Candidates need to qualify the NEET-UG examination for admission to the BDS course and NEET-PG for admission to the MDS courses at SRMDC Chennai.
