Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Kanchipuram (SVCE Kanchipuram) is a unit of Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust that had its academic functioning in the year 1985. It is an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. SVCE Kanchipuram is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and is recognised by the University Grants Commission [UGC]. SVCE Kanchipuram puts continuous efforts to enhance curricular, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities through several Clubs and social service cells, coupled with the professional growth of the faculty members and the students.

The undergraduate Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] courses that are offered by SVCE Kanchipuram are in the different branches of engineering namely, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, and Biotechnology; and Bachelor of Engineering [B.E.] in Marine Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The postgraduate program is offered with the degree of Master of Technology [M. Tech.] in Chemical Engineering, and Biotechnology; and Master of Engineering [M.E.] in Power Electronics and Drives, Communication Systems, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Automation and Robotics, etc. Doctoral programs are also there in several divisions of engineering- Chemical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, etc which are conferred with Ph. D. degrees.
