Sri Venkateswara College (SVC), located in Delhi, was established in the year 1961 and is one of the most prominent colleges in Delhi.
The faculty of SVC are experienced and cooperative, both teaching and non-teaching. Guest lecturers are invited to the campus frequently. They help students in making their future bright and in imparting quality education. SVC is affiliated with Delhi University and has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The undergraduate courses offered by the SVC are as follows Bachelor of Arts; Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science.
To get admission to the SVC, candidates are required to visit the official website and submit an online application for the undergraduate course they wish to apply for. It is mandatory for students to complete their higher secondary education to be eligible for admission. Students who belong to minority communities such as SC/ST/OBC are offered scholarships and other merit-based scholarships are offered in the college as well.
The Training and Placement Cell of SVC is dedicated to providing training and industrial experience to students. From mock interviews to group discussions, the cell covers it all. Internship opportunities are also provided to students. Companies like Accenture, PwC, EY and a few others take part in the recruitment drive conducted by the college placement cell.
The academic facilities provided by SVC include a library with over 1,45, 891 book titles covering a wide range of disciplines to meet the educational needs of instructors, students, and staff; SVC has multiple labs. Departments such as Physics, Chemistry, Geography, Zoology, Computer Science, Botany, and Statistics have their separate labs which are fully equipped. The computer lab is open to all and is air-conditioned and updated with the latest technologies; on-campus high-speed internet; an auditorium with all the latest audio-visual equipment; the classrooms are spacious and have all the latest technology for interactive teaching experience.
Along with the academic facilities, SVC offers some other amenities like a sports complex that encourages its students to participate in sports and focuses on their physical health and fitness, a pocket-friendly and hygienic cafeteria, 24*7 medical services and separate hostels for the boys and the girls.
The hostels can accommodate 144 students in total thereby making 72 seats for boys and 72 seats for girls. Each student has a bed, a ceiling fan, a closet, a table, and a chair in a double occupancy room.

Admission Procedure
Sri Venkateswara College conducts an online admission procedure. The students (co-ed) are required to fill up the admission form on SVU's website. The students can apply for the courses under BA, B.Sc and B.Com with multiple specializations after the completion of their Higher Secondary Examinations from any recognised board of study.
The students are required to qualify for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to get admitted to the SVU.
Sri Venkateswara College also provides a postgraduate degree M.A / M.sc with various specializations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. Sri Venkateswara College conducts admission through an entrance test conducted by Nation Testing Agency. Final admission is based on merit basis.
