Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner (SKNAU Jobner) was established in 2013 by the Government of Rajasthan, with the aim of promoting education, research, and extension in the field of agriculture and allied sciences. SKNAU Jobner was set up to cater to the needs of agricultural development in the region and to empower the farming community with modern technologies and knowledge.
SKNAU Jobner offered a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various disciplines related to agriculture and allied sciences. These programs covered areas such as agronomy, plant pathology, entomology, genetics and plant breeding, soil science, and more. The curriculum was designed to impart comprehensive theoretical knowledge and practical skills to students, preparing them for careers in agriculture and related sectors.
SKNAU Jobner emphasised research and extension activities to address the challenges faced by farmers and the agricultural sector in the region. Admission Procedure
Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner offers B.Sc and M.Sc degrees with various specalizations. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. To apply for their degree candidate must qualify for basic admission criteria. For admission to the undergraduate degree, candidates must complete their higher secondary education with Agriculture/allied subjects. And the candidate must qualify for the Joint Entrance Test conducted by the State Government for admission to the Agriculture courses. And for their postgraduate degree, candidates must complete graduation in any branch of agriculture science or equivalent degree. The candidates must qualify for the Pre-PG Test conducted by any of the State’s Agricultural Universities at the time and place announced by the government of Rajasthan.
SKNAU Jobner also offers Ph.D. degree. To apply for their Ph.D. degree, candidates must complete post-graduation in any branch of agriculture science or equivalent degree and must qualify for the Ph.D. Admission Test conducted by any of the State’s Agricultural Universities at the time and place announced by the government of Rajasthan.

Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner has an efficient and dedicated Career Development cell that oversees all placement-related activities. The placement department offers a wide range of training sessions, webinars and interview preparation sessions to help students get ready for their professional lives. In addition, various industrial training programmes are run by the placements department in collaboration with multinational companies.
Scholarships
Sri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner also provide scholarships with financial help so students can give their fees. This scholarship is for meritorious and economically backward students. The scholarship will be awarded to students from rural backgrounds only, on the basis of merit of JET or any entrance examination. This grant is only available to students who have excellent academic records. The students who place top on the merit list in this university's post-graduate exams receive university merit scholarships. The minimal overall grade point average required for M. Sc. (Ag.) and Ph. D. students in the first semester is 75% marks. Candidates who meet the requirements must provide the institution with their relevant documents.
