Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College (SGTBKC), New Delhi is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, founded in 1951 and is managed by the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC), a statutory body created by an act of the Indian Parliament. SGTBKC, New Delhi's initial mission was to ensure comprehensive social transformation through imparting quality education, especially for young Punjabi refugees from Partition in 1947, as well as to preserve and promote the Punjabi language, culture, and heritage.
In a few years of its establishment, SGTBKC, New Delhi has secured the position of one of the leading colleges in the country inheriting eminence and excellence. At present, there are 18 undergraduate programs and 2 B.Tech. programs, 12 postgraduate programs, one postgraduate diploma, 2 undergraduate diplomas, and 9 certificate courses, making a total of 44 programs.
The faculties are dedicated to performing the duties of raising eminent educational professionals.
