Sona College of Technology, Salem (SCT Salem) is established in 1997 and is affiliated to Anna University in Tamil Nadu.
Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), SCT Salem is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in Engineering. Students can apply for admission to SCT Salem online, and has to qualify the Sona National level Engineering Entrance Examination to be eligible for admission.
SCT Salem has excellent faculty and a well-functioning Placement Cell, and students get recruited by companies such as Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and many more.
SCT Salem is equipped with a range of facilities to support students' academic and extracurricular needs. Admission Procedure
Sona College of Technology, Salem follows an online admission procedure. Admission to the undergraduate courses at SCT Salem is based on students' merit in Sona Engineering Entrance Examination (SONAEEE). In case of admission to the postgraduate courses, Common Entrance Test (CET) and Graduation Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) scores are also taken into consideration.
