Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata (SNU Kolkata) is a university built on the path of Sister Nivedita located in Kolkata. SNU Kolkata is said to be blessed under the shadow of Swami Vivekananda. Established in 2017, the autonomous university is approved by both the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). The college comprises the finest faculty team who lead the students in following the mission of their institution.

At present SNU Kolkata offers undergraduate courses in Engineering, Science, Humanities, Social Science, Agricultural Sciences, Media Communications, Fine Arts and Design, Hospital and Tourism, Architecture and Planning, Business, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Science and Translation Research, Performing Arts, Law and ​​Interdisciplinary programs.

SNU Kolkata conducts online admission. Students willing to take admission are required to pass their Higher Secondary Examinations along with qualifying for NATA and WBJEE exams. Final admissions are granted strictly on the basis of merit.

Different scholarships are also granted by SNU Kolkata.

The placement cell of SNU Kolkata assists the students to gain internship opportunities in different corporate sectors.

To provide vital learning resources to students, the library of SNU Kolkata is updated with the necessary materials to fulfil all sorts of academic needs. Round-the-clock access to journals and authentic books is also provided to the students. Well-known books from publishers in the form of e-books are also available.

Different sectioned laboratories are even a part of the campus that aids the practical learning sessions of the students. Furthermore, a 24X7 medical team to address all sorts of medical emergency needs is even available. An auditorium that is equipped with the latest technology to hold different events is accessible to the students. Admission Procedure

Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata provides an admission procedure for the students (co-ed) in courses with multiple specializations. The students are required to check the official website for every admission-related detail and the eligibility which is based on the marks secured in 10+2 with different subjects along with qualifying marks in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) and National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) required for applying in the different specialized courses offered.

SNU Kolkata also offers postgraduate degrees M.A / M.SC / MBA / MCA/ LL.M / M.Tech with various specializations. Interested candidates visit their website. For an M.tech degree, the candidate must qualify for an entrance examination Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering with valid marks. SNU Kolkata conducts the admission process for an LL.M degree as per the guidelines of the Bar Council of India, final admission is based on academic record and merit basis.
