Admission Procedure
Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok conducts its admission in accordance to the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UCG) and the All India Counciul of Technical Education (AICTE). Students interested in seeking admission at the esteemed institute can apply through the official website of the university. The selection of the applicants for the undergraduate degree courses are made in accordance to the merits secured by the applicants in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in the relevant subject discipline. For the engineering degree courses the selection of the applicants are made according their merits secured in the 10+2 or equivalent examination in PCM or PCB along with the merits secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains). Selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree courses are made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their bachelor's degree courses in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university. For the doctoral degree courses the selection of the applicants are made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their postgraduate degree in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university.
