Admission Procedure
Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur (SIT Tumkur) follows an online admission procedure, and is based on students' merit in entrance examinations. For admission to the undergraduate engineering courses, students need to qualify Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) or Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges - Karnataka (COMED-K) Entrance Examination or Joint entrance Examination Main (JEE Main), while for admission to the MTech courses, students need to qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). Students need to qualify Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) or Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) for admission to the MBA courses .
