Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai (SDNBVCW Chennai), was established in 1968 and is the first women’s college in the Kancheepuram District of Tamil Nadu. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and affiliated to the University of Madras, SDNBVCW Chennai offers 25 undergraduate (UG) and 17 postgraduate (PG) courses for students to pursue.

The UG courses are for the degrees of Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (B.Com(Hons)), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), and Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc); while the PG courses are for Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Commerce (M.Com), Master of Science (M.Sc), and Master of Social Work (MSW). Admission to the aforementioned courses at SDNBVCW,  Chennai takes place online. The highly qualified faculty at SDNBVCW, Chennai works tirelessly to impart quality education and prepare the students for a brighter horizon. The Training and Placement Cell at SDNBVCW, Chennai oversees all related activities, and students get recruited by companies such as Tech Mahindra, CTS, Wipro, Virtusa, TCS and many more.

The Library at SDNBVCW, Chennai has a large collection of books, journals and periodicals, as well as a digital section providing access to a host of e-resources, and scanning and photocopying facilities. Admission Procedure

Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai offers 21 UG and 17 PG programs. SDNBVCW follows online admission procedure. For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC examination in relevant stream from any board. Candidates for PG admission must complete a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject from any university.
