Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram (SVECW Bhimavaram), was established in 2001 and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), SVECW Bhimavaram is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and offers undergraduate Bachelor of Technology (BTech), postgraduate Master of Technology (MTech) and Master of Business Administration (MBA), and doctoral PhD courses for students to pursue.

Admission Procedure
Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women, Bhimavaram (SVECW Bhimavaram), follows an offline admission procedure. Students need to pass their 10+2 level examination with a minimum of 50% marks and Physics and Mathematics as subjects, as well as qualify the Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) to be eligible for admission to the undergraduate engineering courses at SVECW Bhimavaram. Admission takes place through the counselling process that follows the Test. For admission to the MTech courses, students need to qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET), while in case of MBA course, students need to qualify Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET).
