Founded in 1997 by the renowned philanthropist and industrialist, the late 'Padmabhushan' Dr. B. V. Raju, Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Bhimavaram (SVCP Bhimavaram) was established under the Dr. B. V. Raju Foundation and Sri Vishnu Educational Society. Affiliated with Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, SVCP Bhimavaram is the first private Pharmacy College in the region. Situated on a pollution-free campus of 108 acres, SVCP Bhimavaram is equipped with the latest technology, air-conditioned smart lecture halls, a computer lab, and a seminar hall as well as a well-stocked library. SVCP is dedicated to providing and maintaining excellence in Pharmaceutical Sciences. SVCP Bhimavaram is approved by AICTE and PCI.
SVCP Bhimavaram offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D degrees. SVCP Bhimavaram follows the online admission procedure and the application form can be obtained from the college's website.

The campus has well-furnished, ventilated, and modernized classrooms, all of which are IT-enabled and fully air-conditioned. Each classroom also has its own library for students' reference. SVCP Bhimavaram also has high-tech, well-equipped departmental laboratories, workshops, and a seminar hall with a podium, a computer system with an internet facility, an LCD projector, a sound system, and speakers. Moreover, there is a conference hall which is fully air-conditioned and equipped with all the modern amenities, such as an uninterrupted power supply and LCD projector. SVCP Bhimavaram also has ramps for the ease of movement of physically challenged students. SVCP Bhimavaram opened its library and Information Centre, SVCP, in 1997, with a vision of providing its users with the necessary information. This library is one of the best in the state, and covers a total area of 470.51 square meters, with an air-conditioned interior. It holds 13742 volumes and 3237 titles, including abstracts, yearbooks, textbooks, theses, dissertations, encyclopedias, general books, and novels, as well as 32 national journals, 22 international journals, and 945 back volumes in hard copies. In addition, the Digital Library is also provided with 30 computers connected to high-speed Internet, with a bandwidth of 80 Mbps, and has subscribed to full-text online databases, e-Journals, and e-Books such as DELNET, KNIMBUS, and N-LIST, comprising over 16000 e-journals and 29000 e-books. SVCP Bhimavaram also has two fully air-conditioned and well-furnished auditoriums with a seating capacity of 1000 and 300 respectively. There is also a world-class pool, a tennis court, a Health Care Centre, separate hostels, a canteen, and ATMs. All of these facilities work together to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all students.
SVCP Bhimavaram frequently hosts on-campus placement drives by inviting corporate pharmaceutical companies. In preparation for the interviews, students of SVCP Bhimavaram are provided with Recruitment Training (CRT). Furthermore, SVCP Bhimavaram has numerous industry partnerships that offer our students internships as well as opportunities to receive onsite training. The training provided is tailored to the needs of the industry, equipping students with the knowledge and skills required for entry-level jobs, such as overall Personality Development, Soft Skills and Vocabulary, Email Writing and Resume Preparation, Group Discussion, Mock Interviews, Aptitude Training, and Practice Tests, as well as Foreign Languages such as French, Spanish and German. The students of SVCP Bhimavaram get placed in companies like United Health Group, Novartis, Himalaya, Apollo Hospital, Biocon, etc.

Admission Procedure
Shri Vishnu College of Pharmacy, Bhimavaram offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Pharm.D degrees. SVCP Bhimavaram follows online admission procedure and the application form can be obtained from the college's website.
For UG admission, candidates must pass HSC (10+2) from any board. Selection will be based on EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) score. And for PG admission, bachelor's degree is needed. Based on the results of the GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test) or PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test) examinations, candidates will be chosen.
