Admission Procedure
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra (SMVDUK) conducts its admission procedure in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission. Applicants interested in seeking admission at the esteemed university can apply through the merits secured through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The selection of the applicants for the undergraduate degree courses is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in the relevant subject discipline. The selection of the applicants for the postgraduate degree courses is made according to the merits secured by the students in their undergraduate degree courses in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university along with the merits secured by the applicants in their CUET-PG examination.
For doctoral degree programmes, the selection of the applicants is made according to the merits secured by the applicants in their post-graduate degree examination in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university.
