Shibpur Dinobundhoo Institution, Howrah is anticipated for its numerous facilities. The Library of SDBIC Howrah offers a variety of services to users, including a large Reading Room with accommodation for more than 65 students at once. There is provided a separate reading room for teachers where more than 20 teachers can sit at once. The Library has a book collection of over 41831 volumes and an E-book collection of over 32,00,000 volumes (subscribes through INFLIBNET N-LIST project). It subscribes to over 6000 E-journals as well as periodicals (subscribes through the INFLIBNET N-LIST project) followed by a daily newspaper.
An enlarged sports complex has been provided inside the campus where students can feel free to play in their leisure time. SDBIC Howrah is having spacious classrooms that are cleaned and well-maintained and situated in a very calm atmosphere that is ideal for learning. There are laboratories equipped with modern apparatus and pieces of machinery in adequate numbers to feed the requirement of all the students enrolled in the lab-specified courses.
