Scott Christian College (SCCN), Nagercoil is a private autonomous science and arts college affiliated with the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli. SCC Nagercoil’s foundation can be traced back to the establishment of the school in 1809 by the South Travancore’s London Missionary Society’s pioneering missionary, Reverend William Tobias Ringeltaube. Scott Christian College finally came into existence when the school was upgraded to a second-grade college affiliated with Madras University in 1893.
SCC Nagercoil is sited on a well-equipped campus at Weavers Colony, Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu and houses infrastructural facilities like well-furnished ICT classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a well-stocked library, an auditorium, seminar halls, an amphitheatre, medical facilities, a cosy canteen, hostel accommodation, and sports facilities.
