School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal (SPA Bhopal) is a National Institute of Excellence under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, that provides higher education in the domains of planning and architecture. SPA Bhopal's permanent campus is located in Bhauri, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where it has been operating since 2014. The mission of SPA Bhopal is to advance knowledge in architectural research and human settlement planning. SPA Bhopal is dedicated to finding technological, creative, and sustainable solutions to address the problems associated with the built environment. SPA Bhopal is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. SPA Bhopal offers B.Arch, B.Plan, M.Arch M.Plan, M.Des, and Ph.D. degrees. Admission to SPA Bhopal is made online, and the application form can be obtained on the college's website. SPA Bhopal has dedicated and trained faculty. The working environment for architecture and planning students requires a lot of room and top-notch infrastructure. SPA Bhopal has spacious studios and cutting-edge audio-visual equipment in each of its studios, creating a fantastic working and learning environment for the students. Particularly in the areas of architecture and planning, the library offers an extensive collection. Books (textbooks, reference books, reports, conference proceedings, CD-ROMs, etc.), periodicals, dissertations, and online databases are all part of the library's collection. There are around 11226 books in the library's collection overall that cover various branches of architecture and planning. SPA Bhopal features two fully furnished labs, each with 37 computers. Students and staff can use the GIS laboratory at SPA Bhopal, which has high-end workstations, the most recent versions of ArcGIS Desktop and ERDAS Imagine software, as well as open source software.
SPA Bhopal offers a Training and Placement Cell that helps students choose appropriate institutions to pursue professional training and supports the placement of graduating students. The professional training that is a requirement for all programs is coordinated by the Training and Placement Cell as well. A major goal of SPA Bhopal is the development of its human resource base, and the Training and Placement Cell works to meet the expectations of the architectural and planning professions by fostering a dynamic industry-academic link.

Admission Procedure
School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal offers B.Arch, B.Plan, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Des, and Ph.D degrees. Admission to the Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Planning programmes is based on the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA 2021). The students must meet the minimum criteria set forth by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). PG admission will take place directly or through CCMT(Centralized Counselling for MTech / MArch/ MPlan). Candidates applying for the M.Des course must have a valid Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) score. For Ph.D admission, candidates must pass postgraduation.
