School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (SOECUST), Kochi was established in 1978 with the aim of providing high-quality education in the main engineering disciplines at both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels.
Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), SOECUST, Kochi offers 7 UG and 10 PG courses for students to pursue. The UG courses offer the degree of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech); while the PG courses offer Master of Technology (M.Tech). SOECUST, Kochi follows an online admission procedure.

SOECUST, Kochi provides the necessary infrastructural support to ensure the all-round development of the students. The Library at SOECUST, Kochi has a large collection of printed texts, as well as a digital section providing members access to a host of e-resources. Students are provided hostel accommodations separately at SOECUST, Kochi. Recognising the importance of an active lifestyle for the students, SOECUST, Kochi has a well-equipped indoor gymnasium and a running track on Campus.
Regular classes at SOECUST, Kochi take place in air-conditioned smart classrooms, while practical sessions take place in specialised cutting-edge laboratories. The Campus of SOECUST, Kochi also has a cafeteria, medical centre, auditorium and seminar halls for the students and staff to avail.

Admission Procedure
School Of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi follows an online method of admission. Admission to SOECUST, Kochi is done by only following the merit and eligibility of the applicants. SOECUST, Kochi offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses under the faculty of B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) and MTech (Master of Technology) respectively. Applicants aspiring for B.Tech admissions to SOECUST, Kochi must appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) and accordingly, admission occurs following the rank of the applicants and must have Higher Secondary examination from any recognized board with an average of 50% marks in the concerned subjects.
