Satyawati College, Delhi (SC Delhi), a constituent college of the University of Delhi, was established in 1972 to honor the memory of Satyawati Devi, a famous independence warrior (1904-1945). She was the great-granddaughter of Swami Shraddanand, a figure who made an enduring contribution to the history of the nationalist struggle. Her greatest accomplishment was encouraging women to join the independence movement. The UGC has approved SC Delhi.

SC Delhi offers BA, BA(H), B.Com, B.Com(H), B.Sc (H), and MA degrees. Admission to SC Delhi is made online, and the application form can be obtained on the college's website.

SC Delhi has a dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to dedicated to producing thinkers and leaders who will make significant contributions to the development of society and, ultimately, this country.

SC Delhi is conveniently situated in Ashok Vihar and near the university's North Campus. With a campus that spans more than ten acres, SC Delhi offers well-equipped classrooms, a library that is well-stocked, seminar rooms, computer laboratories, a sports complex, a canteen, and common areas for both boys and girls. On SC Delhi's campus, there is a PNB branch. SC Delhi boasts one of Delhi University's finest auditoriums. Students have access to Wi-Fi on the college campus. Along with the academic brilliance offered by a committed faculty, there are over thirty Societies like Arts and Culture, Debating, Dramatics, Photography, etc. that allow students to grow holistically. In addition to departmental societies, SC Delhi has the NSS, NCC, FCC, and North East Society, all of which support students in achieving their full potential.

Saksham, the Career Counseling, Placement, and Entrepreneurship Cell of SC Delhi is run by a team of more than 100 people and strives to provide college students with opportunities for internships and employment. Students are often given the opportunity to presentations, seminars, and workshops for general skill development that provide them a broad understanding of the state of the job market today. Regular internships expose students to the market and ensure that they are prepared for placements by inviting HRs from large firms. The team occasionally hosts a variety of seminars on topics like resume writing, interview tips, starting one's own startup, and career counseling. The students of SC Delhi get placed in companies like Genpact, eWards, Aglasem, IDBI Life Insurance, The Financial Doctors, Byju’s, Urban Company, S&P Global, EY (a startup), PopXo, Decathlon, TopHire, Tresvista, etc.

At SC Delhi, several scholarships and financial aid programs are available to students based on their academic performance and achievements in extracurricular activities. Scholarships include the Late Gaurav Nagpal Scholarship, Late Ms. Kranti Memorial Scholarship, Sultan Chand Dropadi Devi Education Foundation Scholarship, Dr. Usha Aggarwal “Tejaswni Scholarship”, e Ms. Asha Sahani Memorial Prize, Smt. Bhagwati Mathur Memorial Prize, Late Smt. Ganeshi Devi Memorial Prize, Prof. Brij Lal memorial award, and Ms. Sudesh Kumari memorial award.

Admission Procedure

Satyawati College, Delhi offers BA, BA(H), B.Com, B.Com(H), B.Sc (H), and MA degrees. It conducts its admission process according to the guidelines of the University of Delhi. For UG admission at SC Delhi, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any recognised board. And for PG admission, candidates must complete a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject discipline from a recognised university.
