Students can pursue 52 undergraduate (UG), 1 diploma (DIP) and 30 postgraduate courses at SIST Chennai. The UG courses offer the degrees of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch), Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Arts+Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA+LL.B, integrated), Bachelor of Business Administration+Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA+LL.B, integrated), Bachelor of Commerce+Bachelor of Legislative Law (B.Com+LL.B, integrated), Bachelor of Legislative Law (LL.B), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Bachelor of Arts (B.A). The PG courses are for Master of Engineering (M.E), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Architecture (M.Arch), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Master of Arts (M.A), and Master of Science (M.Sc).

Admission Procedure
Admission to Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai is made only once a year. Candidates are required to fill in relevant information for the entrance examination as applicable for the selected phase and upload the required documents. Candidates need to pass the (10+2) or any equivalent exams with subjects of Arts, Science and Commerce as their primary subjects, respectively
Students willing to pursue BE and BTech at SIST, Chennai must have passed with a minimum of 45% in the subjects of mathematics, physics, and chemistry in the 10+2 or HSC or ICSE or any comparable examination.
Students willing to pursue B.Des at SIST, Chennai must have passed 10+2 or HSC or ICSE or equivalent examination, with a minimum of 45% aggregate. .
Students willing for BA admission must have passed 10+2 or HSC or ICSE or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students also should have valid eligibility in the NATA Examination conducted by the Council of Architecture. Students willing for the BPharm course must have passed 10+2 or HSC or ICSE or equivalent examination with Biology / Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Students are given the specialised skills that different businesses want. It has done a great job of consistently and highly sustaining placement statistics throughout time. SIST, Chennai increases the number of recruiters on staff each year as a result of students' outstanding performance in the industry. Until the conclusion of their last semester, the on-campus recruitment effort is still in effect. We assist our students with off-campus hiring as well. Students are given placement training at various academic stages. Industrial training needs are assessed, and training programmes are created with students in mind. Based on contacts with recruiters and the most recent industry demands, the training modules are continually updated. Scholarships
The management of SIST, Chennai supports the students by offering Scholarships. 'Dr. Jeppiaar Remibai Merit Scholarship' is offered to students who work towards achieving academic excellence.
Toppers are awarded the 'Dr.Jeppiaar Remibai merit scholarship' every academic year. The highest scorers receive a 30% discount on their tuition for the academic year, while the second-place finisher receives a 20% discount and the third-place finisher receives a 10% discount.
