SMITH, Hooghlyalso offers 5 diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering.

Admission Procedure
Saroj Mohan Institute of Technology, Hooghly conducts an online method of admission for the students (co-ed) in the courses of B.Tech, BBA, BHM, BCA and diploma in engineering courses. Interested students are required to pass in entrance exams after 10+2 completion such as West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE)/ Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE)/ Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET) for applying for B.Tech courses, Common Entrance Test (CET) for applying in BBA, BHM and BCA, and Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO)/Vocational Lateral Entry Test (VOCLET) for applying in Diploma courses. SMIT Hooghly also offers an MBA course. A graduate with a Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or Common Admission Test (CAT) score is required for admission to an MBA programme.
