Sarah Tucker College, Tirunelveli (STC Tirunelveli) the miraculous manifestation of God's love made possible by the inspiration and selfless compassion of the physically challenged Miss Sarah Tucker in the middle of the nineteenth century, is proud to be the first women's college in Southern India. STC Tirunelveli was founded in 1895 as a Second Grade College associated with the University of Madras, with only four students enrolled in the FA. Since then, STC Tirunelveli has risen in size and stature to become a First Grade College with autonomous status, with 3480 students registered. STC Tirunelveli, which serves a minority of Christians and is run by the Tirunelveli Diocesan Trust Association (TDTA), is a First Grade College that is affiliated with Manonmaniam Sundaranar University. STC Tirunelveli has gained even another brilliant diamond with the grant of autonomy which took effect in June 2007. STC Tirunelveli's motto, "So run that ye may earn the incorruptible crown," is an implied statement of its aim. STC Tirunelveli holds that the "incorruptible crown" may only be attained by service to humanity.
STC Tirunelveli offers ample undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate courses. STC Tirunelveli follows the online admission procedure and the online application form can be obtained from the college's portal. STC Tirunelveli has a dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to train young women who can realize their full potential in terms of their academic, creative, physical, and spiritual growth in order to become responsible, deserving citizens who can support their community and the country. STC Tirunelveli provides for the need for spiritual and moral development by holding regular chapel services in the morning. This is done with an eye toward the student's overall personality development. A stunning stage and auditorium with a cross-shaped façade that could accommodate more than 3000 students on the first floor. Since its foundation in 1895, the Library has been an essential component of the campus. STC Tirunelveli has both indoor and outdoor game facilities, including a sizable playground, roughly 8 game courts, and an obstacle course. Students with special needs can use ramps, wheelchairs, special restrooms, and circuit TV to watch events hosted in Centenary Auditorium.
The Career Counseling and Placement Cell of STC Tirunelveli work to promote the entire development of the students in addition to serving as a facilitator for training and placement. The team responsible for training and placement provides oversight for it. It serves largely as a bridge between the industry and the institute. The Cell has a top-notch infrastructure and is well-equipped to support each and every step of the hiring process. In order to ensure that students are prepared for the workforce, STC Tirunelveli has established a Training and Placement Cell to manage the interface between industry and academia. Numerous businesses have visited the campus, including Accenture, TCS, Wipro, IDBI Bank, Alcance Technologies, ITES Company, Cube Yogi, CLR Neem, Centizen Inc., the United States - India Branch, and Simha Mobile. STC Tirunelveli assists students to get scholarships like the National Merit Government of India Scholarship, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Merit Scholarships, The Tamil Nadu Educational Trust- Scholarship, etc.

Admission Procedure

Candidates for PG admission must complete bachelor's degree from any university. At the time of interview, candidates must bring the soft copy of the form and other important documents.
