Sanaka Education Trust's Group of Institutions, Durgapur (SETGOI, Durgapur) was established in 2006 on a sprawling green 34-acre Campus in the heart of the industrial hub of West Bengal. The primary goal of SETGOI Durgapur is to provide intellectual stimulation to fresh minds in order to reduce future shortages of skilled engineers and technocrats. SETGOI Durgapur is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT).

SETGOI Durgapur offers 6 undergraduate (UG) and 3 diploma (DIP) courses. The UG courses are: B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering; and B.Pharm. Students can also pursue diplomas in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering at SETGOI Durgapur. Classes are conducted by highly skilled faculty members who work tirelessly to provide quality education and make the students industry-ready. Students need to qualify the 10+2 level examination, and get a valid score in JEE-Main/WBJEE to be eligible for admission to the B.Tech courses, and JEXPO for the diploma courses.

The Placement Cell of SETGOI Durgapur provides complete placement assistance to all the students. Sanaka Education Trust's Group of Institutions, Durgapur, provides the necessary infrastructural support to ensure the all-round development of the students.

Regular classes are conducted in spacious classrooms, while practical lessons take place in various specialised cutting-edge laboratories, including a fully air-conditioned computer laboratory. The Central Library of SETGOI Durgapur has a collection of over 50000 books. Students are accommodated in separate hostels for boys and girls. A cafeteria is also present on the Campus for all to avail.

Admission Procedure

Sanaka Education Trust's Group of Institutions, Durgapur conducts an admission procedure for students (co-ed) seeking admission to the courses of B.Tech and Diploma in several engineering specialities, as well as B.Pharm. The applying candidates should clear 10+2 exams priorly after which they are required to score eligible marks in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) or Joint Entrance Examination (Main) (JEE) for applying in B.Tech courses and Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics (JEXPO) for applying in the Diploma courses with engineering specializations. Candidate must qualify National Aptitude Test in Architecture  (NATA) in order to be eligible to B.Arch course.
