Sai Nath University, Ranchi (SNU Ranchi), was established in 2012 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Set over a sprawling 35–acre campus, SNU, Ranchi offers 19 undergraduate (UG), 11 postgraduate (PG), and 2 diploma courses for students to pursue. The UG courses are for the degrees of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Computer Application (B.Sc), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed), Bachelor of Legislative Law (LL.B), Bachelor of Arts+Bachelor of Legislative Law (BA+LLB)(integrated), Bachelor of Business Administration+Bachelor of Legislative Law (BBA+LLB)(integrated), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Education (B.ed), Bachelor of Science+Bachelor of Education (B.Sc+B.Ed)(integrated), and Bachelor of Arts+Bachelor of Education (B.A+B.Ed)(integrated). The PG courses are for Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Legislative Law (LL.M), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Bachelor of Education+Master of Education (B.Ed+M.Ed)(integrated), and Master of Education (M.Ed). Admission to the UG courses is based on merit in the entrance exam conducted by SNU, Ranchi.

Applicants applying for UG degree to SNU, Ranchi must appear for an entrance examination conducted by SNU, Ranchi and must have passed (10+2) or any equivalent examination with respective subjects in their concerned studies.
