Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju Engineering College, Bhimavaram (SRKREC Bhimavaram), is one of the states of Andhra Pradesh's first self-financing engineering colleges. SRKREC Bhimavaram was established with the noble goal of empowering rural students via technical education, and it has since developed into one of the leading technical institutions in the nation. SRKREC Bhimavaram was established in 1980 in Bhimavaram, West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh, and its history echoes the discussions of the town's elite that sparked the creation of the educational society known as the "SRKREC Association" and the ground-breaking technical institution known as the "SRKREC," named after its founder and major donor. SRKREC Bhimavaram became autonomous (UGC) after becoming permanently affiliated with JNTUK (formerly linked with Andhra University). Additionally, SRKREC Bhimavaram is approved by AICTE. Engineering has always been a catalyst for change and innovation, and SRKREC Bhimavaram takes pleasure in carrying on this tradition with top-notch thinkers and concepts.
SRKREC Bhimavaram offers B.Tech and M.Tech degrees. The qualifying requirements for admission into different UG and PG programs at SRKREC Bhimavaram are based on the criteria that are routinely established by the Andhra Pradesh government. SRKREC Bhimavaram has a dedicated and trained faculty. The goal of the faculty is to implement world-class educational strategies to produce world-class professionals. Since SRKREC Bhimavaram's inception in 1980, it has never compromised on infrastructural amenities, whether they be physical buildings, machines, software, or any other learning tools.
SRKREC Bhimavaram has a sufficient infrastructure that covers 30 acres of land and has a built-up area of roughly 64000 square meters. SRKREC Bhimavaram has 17 centers of excellence, 97 classrooms, 77 laboratories, 7 seminar halls, 5 drawing halls, 2 auditoriums, 6 workshops, and 3 computer centers. Numerous sports and games are made possible by the campus's well-maintained indoor stadiums, gymnasiums, play areas, and running tracks. There are ICT resources in the seminar rooms and classrooms.

The cell occupies a dominant position, carrying out a variety of duties and overseeing a range of operations aimed at meeting the needs of the students. The Cell is vital in helping UG and PG students find employment since it maintains frequent contact with reputable businesses and industrial establishments. The students of SRKREC Bhimavaram get placed in companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, Indian Navy, Amazon, Walmart, etc.
