Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad (RCB Faridabad) is an institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The main objective of RCB Faridabad is to provide education, training, and research in the field of biotechnology. RCB Faridabad is committed to promoting cooperation among Asia-Pacific countries in developing necessary infrastructure and capacity building for economic benefits. RCB Faridabad aims to develop highly skilled human resources who can be employed globally. RCB Faridabad was established in 2006 and began functioning at interim laboratories and offices in Gurgaon, Haryana, and later moved to its new campus in Faridabad in 2015. 

RCB Faridabad offers Ph.D. and Integrated MS-PHD courses in Biotechnology. RCB Faridabad has a strong focus on capacity building and conducting research in biotechnology, making it a leading institution in this field in India.

Admission Procedure

Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Faridabad offers PhD and Integrated MS-PHD courses in Biotechnology. candidates may apply online for admission to these courses. 

Students with a bachelor's degree in any field of science, engineering, or medicine and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60% are eligible to apply for Integrated MSc-PHD admission. The Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) must be taken by eligible students. Students who have been shortlisted based on their JGEEBILS performance will be contacted to schedule an interview before being officially accepted into the PhD (Integrated) Degree Program. Admission seeking to PhD course must hold MSc/MTech degree in any branch With a 60% aggregate score, Admission will be based on a written test and/or interview.
