The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Patiala aims to attain excellence and develop and deliver comprehensive legal education, including online and continuing legal education, at all levels.
The library at the campus has a collection of over thirty-nine thousand volumes of books and a hundred and nine periodicals. The digital library is also accessible to all.
Eleven hostel blocks—six for boys and five for girls—have been finished in accordance with the projected campus' master plan. These blocks each have their own separate dining and mess areas. Three lakhs thirty-four thousand nine hundred and seventy-eight square feet are totalled by these hostels as covered space. The adjoining mess and all the hostels have full air conditioning. To ensure a continuous supply of clean, drinkable water for twenty-four hours, each hostel is furnished with an aqua guard and a water cooler. All of the campus's hostels are kept in good condition with regard to sanitation and hygiene, and housekeeping services are offered day and night with staff on hand around the clock.
RGNUL Patiala has provisions for sports facilities such as football, cricket, tennis, basketball, lawn tennis and volleyball. The gym on the campus is open to all students and is equipped with the latest training equipment. The gym is well-stocked with weight lifting equipment in addition to cardio equipment like treadmills, cross trainers, and spin bikes. On occasion, numerous students and faculty members take part in various health-related activities like yoga, aerobics, and the like. Boys and girls have distinct access to professional-trained personal trainers/coaches who can help them with their exercise plans. In general, the campus gym offers a very supportive environment for university staff and students to maintain their health.
The laboratories are equipped with the latest equipment and are fully furnished. The computer lab is updated and is open to all students. An on-campus cafeteria strives to serve healthy and nutritious food to students at affordable prices.
For medical emergencies, RGNUL Patiala features a University Health Center (UHC). Complete facilities are available at UHC for indoor admissions, minor operations, resuscitation tools, immunizations, equipment sterilisation, and a supply of medications for both common and urgent illnesses. It operates for a full twenty-four hours. The University Health Center also has taken on the responsibility of conducting routine health checks of students and staff, especially the food handlers in the canteen.
The entire campus of RGNUL Patiala is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms are supported with smartboards, projectors, speakers and microphones. Moot courts are also available. The moot courts help students to participate in discussions and competitions. The auditorium on the campus is facilitated by the latest audio-visual equipment.
