Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, Nandyal (RGMCET Nandyal), established in 1995, is a premier institute for higher education in engineering and technology. RGMCET Nandyal is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapuram and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Admission Procedure
Admissions into all undergraduate programmes (B.Tech) in Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, Nandyal is based on the state wide ranks obtained in the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test). Admission to RGMCET Nandyal's postgraduate programmes is based on the merit / ranks / scores of candidates in the state-wide national eligibility tests GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) and PGECET (Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test).

The Training and Placement Cell of Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology, Nandyal actively organises many events to help students get placements in reputable organisations. Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Virtusa, and other companies have visited the campus to recruit students. The cell's primary goal is to get final-year students the best possible placements while also making them aware of the various higher education options available to them in various subjects. Soft skills training, group discussions, interview preparation, and so on are offered on a regular basis. Students will also receive guidance in selecting the best career options.
