Rajdhani College, New Delhi offers several infrastructural facilities for the benefit of its students.
The library of RC New Delhi serves the needs of the modern internet-savvy age with its own air-conditioned Faculty Reading Corner, PCs with internet access, and e-journal subscription. More than 1.25 lakh academic books on diverse topics are available in our library. It holds subscriptions to 33 newspapers, over 55 magazines, academic journals, and periodicals covering a wide range of interests. Users can access books in the completely automated library with just one click. The automated cataloging system was created to facilitate access. A newspaper clipping service that focuses on higher education has also been launched by the library. The Library The library offers a special area for students with disabilities and teaching personnel that includes four smart workstations and high-speed scanners (to turn reading materials into listening texts). To help customers with disabilities learn, the library provides reading materials in Braille and hearing texts. They can also obtain a Voice Angel (a recording device used for lectures, etc.) issued in their names so they can remember crucial details about any subject. RC New Delhi is subscribed to N-LIST by INFLIBNET which gives authorised people access to 6000+ e-journals and 31,35000+ e-books.
RC New Delhi creates a conducive environment for teaching and learning by providing several facilities. The campus is wi-fi enabled with high-speed connectivity to access the world wide web when necessary. Classrooms are clean, well-maintained, spacious, ventilated, furnished, and equipped with ICT facilities for smooth and uninterrupted academic sessions.
The science, mathematics, and computer labs have state-of-the-art facilities and contain advanced equipment for an enriching practical class experience. RC New Delhi features a medical room with basic amenities like a blood pressure monitor and a wheelchair, among others, that can give students basic first aid and meet their medical needs for unscheduled and urgent situations, mild illnesses A staff nurse that the college has chosen is responsible for maintaining the medical room. College students receive routine health examinations from licenced medical practitioners.
The cafeteria is the hangout spot for students after class. It is spacious and maintained and can accommodate 80 students at once. The cafeteria serves healthy, hygienic, and delicious food at economic rates. Salient meetings, conferences, and seminars are hosted at the seminar hall which is spacious, air-conditioned, and fitted with advanced LCD projectors and audio speakers. The beautifully designed auditorium is air-conditioned and can accommodate 200 people. The auditorium is used for hosting dance and theatre performances, film screenings, lectures, seminars, conferences, workshops, farewell parties, and musicals. The ampitheatre present at the college campus is used by students for conducting open discussions, poetry recitations, dance practices, and dramatics.
A counter and ATM of Central Bank of India are located within the campus which makes it easier for students to conduct their banking transactions. The sporting facilities provided by RC New Delhi are top-notch. Every year RC New Delhi organises the grand annual sports day which sees participation from students and faculty members. The sporting teams and college sportspersons participate in numerous sporting competitions at a national, international, intra-college, and inter-college level and bring laurels to the college. There is a sports ground on campus for numerous games. The facilities for sports include 2 cricket practice pitches, 3 cricket match pitches, courts for volleyball, handball, and football, a 200m grass athletic track, etc. RC New Delhi also has an outdoor gymnasium with modern working out and fitness equipment. There is a common room for girls which is sued for recreational purposes.
