RajaRajeswari Dental College and Hospital, Bengaluru (RRDCH Bengaluru) was founded in 1992 on the initiative of Sri A. C. Shanmugam under the auspices of the Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust. RRDCH Bengaluru is connected with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in Karnataka and is recognized by the DCI, the Government of Karnataka, and the Government of India.
RRDCH Bengaluru offers BDS, MDS, and Ph.D. degrees. For BDS admission at RRDCH Bengaluru, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. Candidates for MDS admission must complete a bachelor's degree. For Ph.D. admission, candidates must pass postgraduation. RRDCH Bengaluru has a dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to encourage the learning of fundamental, psychological, and clinical sciences in order to prepare graduates for careers in general dentistry, dental specialties, research, and education.
The campus of RRDCH Bengaluru is located on the Bangalore-Mysore Highway, 19 kilometers from the state house. RRDCH Bengaluru campus is large, covering about 5 acres, and the lush landscape is home to cutting-edge structures. More than 6,000 volumes about dentistry are housed in the RRDCH's air-conditioned library, which has a sizable collection. Additionally, the library has more than 90 national and international magazines that aid students in staying current. A large indoor auditorium is useful for regularly hosting workshops and seminars. The institution can host significant events including conferences, convocations, and cultural performances thanks to the ACS Convention Center. Every classroom has cutting-edge teaching and learning resources, enabling teachers and students to communicate clearly.
