Raghavendra Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Anantapur (RIPER Andhra Pradesh) is linked with high-quality pharmacy education. A group of pharmacy educators founded RIPER Andhra Pradesh in 2002 as part of the Raghavendra Educational and Rural Development Society (RERDS). One of the largest and most prestigious pharmacies in the nation, RIPER Andhra Pradesh is connected with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA) and is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has granted RIPER Andhra Pradesh 2(f) and 12(B) status as well as autonomous status for a six-year period beginning in 2016-2017 and ending in 2021-2022. RIPER Andhra Pradesh offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D, Ph.D., and D.Pharma degrees. For B.Pharm, Pharm.D, and D.Pharma admission at RIPER Andhra Pradesh, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. For M.Pharm admission, candidates must pass a bachelor's degree from any recognized university and for Ph.D. admission, candidates must complete a master's degree from any university.

RIPER Andhra Pradesh has its own building and is situated on a 12-acre, a lushly green campus that is pollution and noise free. It has the best infrastructure, including large classrooms, laboratories, a library, and separate dorms for boys and girls. The library has a total area of 1674 square feet, houses 1823 titles, and has 12272 volumes. More than 50 domestic and foreign journals are available through the library's subscription service. RIPER Andhra Pradesh makes sure that its physical infrastructure is accessible to people with disabilities.
