QIS College of Engineering and Technology, Ongole (QICET Ongole) was established in 1998. It is an autonomous institution affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada. QICET Ongole is recognised by University Grants Commission [UGC] and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE], and is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

QICET Ongole sprawl over large acres of land in an evergreen atmosphere. QICET Ongole is Wi-Fi enabled residential campus. The modern classrooms and seminar halls are well-structured, equipped with the latest technology and designed to provide students with an immersive learning experience. There is an ample number of sports and recreational zone to proliferate the best campus experience for its students. It exerts all kinds of state-of-the-art infrastructure through its astounding Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The students are facilitated with enormous, useful collections in both their physical and online libraries. It has the latest technological advancements in each departmental laboratories, the computer laboratories contain the latest configuration.

QICET Ongole offers a Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] degree in VLSI & Technology, Electronics & Communication, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, etc in its undergraduate program and a Master of Technology [M. Tech] degree in Computer Science, VLSI & Technology, Thermal Engineering, etc for its postgraduate program. Master Computer Application [MCA] and Master of Business Administration [MBA] are also offered under the postgraduate program.

The faculty of QICET Ongole devises the best pedagogic methods to establish appropriate moral and responsible personalities among the students. They guide the students with projects to simulate with industry partners, thus giving students the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and build strong networks with industrial value systems. In this manner the faculty also offers extensive practical training, giving students the opportunity to hone their skills and gain hands-on experience and identify their interest factors in their chosen fields.

QICET Ongole has an extremely well-functioning Training and Placement Cell to assist its students with employment opportunities of their desired aspirations. They also take responsibility to train and sharpen the skills of the students by organising different orientation programs, seminars, and soft skill training classes to boost the students’ confidence while seating before their potential employers of global repute like HCL, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
