Admission Procedure
Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh (PEC Chandigarh) follows an online admission procedure for the students applying to any undergraduate, postgraduate or doctorate course.
Undergraduate courses like B.Des and B.Tech with variou specializations are provided applying to which the students are required to have qualifying marks in their 10+2 examination from a recognized board along with qualifying marks in Joint Entrance Examination-Mains (JEE-Mains).
The students are also provided with postgraduate courses like M.Tech with various specializations applying to which the students must have a bachelor's degree in the relevant subject or stream from a recognized university along with qualifying marks in Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE).
The students must have a master's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university along with qualifying marks in Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) or National Eligibility Test (NET) for applying in any Ph.D course available in various specializations.
