PSGCP, Coimbatore has a well-functioning Placement cell that looks after every possible aspect of equipping the students with the most relevant industry skills and job opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry. Students are provided with summer internship opportunities and soft skill programs to be trained in every possible aspect of knowledge and practical learning in pharmacy. Further, the students are also provided with Pre-placement talks, mock interview programs, resume building, and group discussions for being better equipped during the recruitment process. The Placement cell maintains liaisons with reputed pharmaceutical companies for job openings and for conducting placement interviews at the campus.
PSGCP, Coimbatore has a Central library and college library located at the library block. Both libraries are well-maintained and have a vast amount of resources such as e-books, e-journals, etc. Apart from these two libraries, every department has its library with resources about the assigned discipline of the department. PSGCP, Coimbatore has separate accommodation facilities for men and women. The hostels are well-constructed with properly furnished rooms and several other amenities to provide the students with a homely environment facilitating a smooth staying and studying experience. The cafeteria is the hangout spot for students after their classes. It has a pleasant ambience, well-maintained and spacious. The food served here is hygienic and nutritious. Attached to the PSGCP, Coimbatore is the PSG Multispeciality Hospital, which has 1300 beds and advanced medical equipment and technology. The PSG Hospital is a teaching hospital offering both UG and PG programmes in Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and pharmacy. The herbal garden at PSGCP, Coimbatore has several medicinal herbs and it helps students to identify a variety of herbs and their medicinal values for academic purposes. The campus consists of well-structured playgrounds with courts for outdoor sports like basketball, volleyball, and cricket. Indoor sporting facilities are also available at the campus such as courts for table tennis and shuttle. PSGCP, Coimbatore has a green campus and is wifi enabled for the student, staff, and every faculty member within the campus. The classrooms are spacious, and ventilated and have modern equipment for facilitating a conducive environment for teaching and learning. The course-specific labs are well-designed and contain every necessary equipment that will assist the students in their practical classes and help them gain hands-on experience.
