Established in 1999, Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering, Pune (PESMCE Pune) is a flagship institution of the Progressive Education Society. PESMCE Pune is recognized and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), and the Government of Maharashtra. PESMCE Pune is permanently affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and strictly adheres to norms and standards for engineering and management education. Admission Procedure
Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering, Pune offers BE/BTech, ME, MBA, and MCA degrees. The Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State (DTE), acts as the competent authority for the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). PESMCE Pune carries out admission for Institute level seats, Supernumerary Quota (PIO), and vacant seats transparently and in accordance with the Inter-Se Merit of the candidates who applied. PESMCE Pune then prepares and displays the Inter-Se merit list of the Candidate for the Institutional Quota and Supernumerary Quota (PIO), including the vacant seats post-CAP, on the notice board and publishes the same on their website. Eligible candidates, meeting the criteria set by the competent authority (DTE) and notified by the government, can apply to the Principal for admission at the Institution level. After the final round of CAP, advertisements regarding "Admission" also appear in newspapers.
