Admission Procedure

PU Bangalore conducts the Presidency University Entrance Exam which is considered for admissions to B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA. Admissions to B.Tech courses are also carried out based on the Joint Entrance Examination- Mains (JEE- Mains), Common Entrance Test (CET), Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED K), Engineering Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).
Students applying for the BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB, B.Com LLB, and LLM courses need to appear for the Presidency University Law Admission Test (PULAT), Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), and Law School Admission Test (LSAT) exams. For MBA courses admissions are based on scores obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT), Management Aptitude Test (MAT), Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA), and Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT).
Admissions to the B.Des and B.Sc in Multimedia courses are based on the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) and the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFTEE).
Initially, the students are required to have qualifying marks in their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board for applying to the undergraduate and integrated degrees, and for postgraduate degrees, they must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with qualifying marks.
