PGGCG, Chandigarh offers several outstanding infrastructural facilities for the benefit of its students and staff.
PGGCG, Chandigarh’s library has a rich collection of resources pertaining to a wide variety of topics to satisfy the academic requirements of students, staff, and research scholars. Resources include 96328 books, 38 subject journals, 86 magazines, and 15 newspapers in Hindi, English, and Punjabi. Apart from this wide collection of printed resources, the library also INFLIBNET facility which gives access to several numerous e-books and e-journals.
Students at PGGCG, Chandigarh are provided with accommodation facilities. The hostels are aesthetically structured and well-maintained with spacious and well-ventilated rooms. With scenic surroundings and several amenities including a yoga room, medical room, IT-enabled reading room, etc, the hostels provide a homely environment so that the students and experience a comfortable stay.
Located at the centre of the campus is the college auditorium which has a seating capacity of 400 people. The auditorium is fully air-conditioned and equipped with stellar audio and visual systems. It is a fully furnished auditorium with comfortable seating arrangements and is ideal for hosting various programs and functions. Salient meetings, discussions, seminars, and other academic events are all organized at the fully air-conditioned seminar hall that can accommodate 100 people at once and is equipped with sophisticated and modern facilities including ICT infrastructure such as A/V equipment, projectors, etc.
The conference room at the campus is equipped with LCD projectors, internet connectivity, cosy seating arrangements. It is fully furnished and is used for conducting conferences, management discussions, board meetings, etc.
There are several large, well-lit classrooms at PGGCG, Chandigarh. A lot of windows provide adequate ventilation. The utilisation of audio-visual teaching methods is made possible by the ICT capabilities of the classrooms, which include projectors. Apart from providing uninterrupted teaching-learning experience in advanced classrooms, students also require proper practical experience in various disciplines. The state-of-the-art course-specific labs are equipped with the latest apparatus and gadgets.
The Open-air stage at PGGCG, Chandigarh is well-maintained and is used by students for conducting various cultural and academic programmes and events. Visiting a bank branch for conducting financial transactions is pretty time-consuming. To provide ease of banking transactions, an ATM of SBI is installed at the college campus.
The ‘Cosy Cove’ which is a recreational space at the college campus is the best spot for students to refresh their minds after long class hours. It is fully air-conditioned and provides several amenities such as a LED home theatre system, wifi connectivity, board games and many more.
Sports and physical well-being are an integral part of a student's life at PGGCG, Chandigarh. Outdoor sporting facilities provided to students include a volleyball court, a softball court, two basketball courts, a handball court, a netball court, a hockey field, a football field, and a 200m running track. A badminton and table tennis court are provided within the Multipurpose sports hall along with several indoor gaming facilities such as chess, carrom, etc. At PGGCG, Chandigarh, students are encouraged to lead a healthy lifestyle. Through sports maintaining a healthy body and mind becomes possible but that is not the only facility provided to the students. The campus is also equipped with an indoor as well as an outdoor gymnasium with the latest fitness machinery for students to avail.
PGGCG, Chandigarh consists of a canteen serving numerous delicacies from various regions of the country. The food court present at the campus consists of various food and beverages stalls as well.
